Project Overview
Voltmetric Electrical Contractors delivered the full electrical installation package for the Diamond Extension at Harwell Science Park, providing complete LV distribution, containment, power, lighting and specialist laboratory infrastructure for the new-build facility. All works were delivered during the construction of the new laboratory and commercial extension, requiring close coordination with the principal contractor and specialist trades to meet programme and quality requirements. The project was completed safely and in line with client expectations.

Main low-voltage distribution infrastructure and MCCB panelboards
Submain cabling and final circuit distribution boards
Extensive ladder, tray, basket and underfloor containment systems
Small power installations including floor boxes, dado and isolators
Dedicated mechanical services power supplies and plant connections
Internal, emergency and external lighting installations
Advanced lighting control systems
Fire alarm and access control systems
Structured cabling and CCTV infrastructure
Earthing and bonding systems
